LG Electronics is spending £4 million on a marketing campaign to showcase its Optimus L3, Optimus L5 and Optimus L7 smartphones in the UK. The campaign, which uses outdoor, print and online advertising, has been created by London-based MWorks.
LG will also take advantage of its sponsorship of the LG Arena in Birmingham, offering access to sold-out events via competitions.
All the advertising is centred around a tagline that starts “Life’s Good when...”
Steve Gater, LG’s CE Consumer Marketing Director, said “Great style and design has always been central to LG’s mobile offering and we’re very excited about the launch of LG’s three, new L-Series smartphones. We’ve had a great start to the year and we intend to maintain momentum with a really impactful marketing drive. There is a space in the market for attractive, affordable smartphones and we believe the L-Series is perfectly placed to fill it.”
