IMPDA to fight mobile crime

IMPDA chairman Chris Caudle hopes his latest initiative will reduce mobile phone theft. He’s currently arranging a scheme that would enable all UK dealers to instantly register new phones with the Immobilise.com database at the point of sale. In addition, he’s negotiating a cut-price rate for dealers who want to access the CheckMEND database of stolen phones. He talks more about the proposed scheme in this week’s podcast.
