GetJar passes 1 billion application downloads

As Apple announced 5 billion downloads for its App Store, its closest rival was breaking through the 1 billion app download barrier. GetJar which launched in March 2004, is the first cross-platform application store to exceed one billion downloads.

Do mobile phones affect rabbit sex?

There's been plenty of talk about the health effects of mobile phones on people, although much of the research has seemed inconclusive. Now a group of researchers in Japan has investigated whether mobiles have any effect on the sexual behaviour of rabbits.

Apple's iAd mobile advertising network debuts on 1st July

Along with yesterday's iPhone announcement, Apple also talked about said its iAd mobile advertising network. This is now set to debut on 1st July 2010. iAds will be available on iPhone and iPod touch devices running the new iOS 4 software platform and will appear within certain applications. App developers who join the iAd Network will receive 60% of iAd Network revenue.
