Farewell to Telefonica Digital, Telefonica Europe and Telefonica Latam
Telefónica, the company behind O2 UK, has announced a new organisational structure and a new strategy.
The new structure is intended to be simpler and ‘completely focused on clients’. A new role of Chief Commercial Digital Officer has been created and the activities of Telefónica Digital, Telefónica Europe and Telefónica Latam are being moved into the main business.
Mobile network EE has signed a six-year partnership deal with Wembley Stadium, becoming the venue’s ‘lead brand partner’ for the first time in its 90-year history.
It’ll also become a supplier to the England Men’s football team and The FA Cup competition.
Figures from the GSMA reveal that more than 85,000 delegates, exhibitors, contractors and media representatives attended Mobile World Congress this year, which is a new record for the event.
That total comprises more than 80,000 attendees at the main Fira Gran Via venue plus over 5,000 people visiting associated events at Fira Montjuïc.
