Three and T-Mobile are now sharing 12,000 3G sites in the UK

Mobile Broadband Network Limited, the 50/50 joint venture set up by Three UK and T-Mobile almost three years ago, has now delivered more than 12,000 shared 3G sites across the UK for the two networks. Each of these 3G sites is fully-configured for high-speed mobile broadband access.

Financial Services Authority says investment firms will need to record all mobile calls

The UK Financial Services Authority has published rules that will require mobile phone conversations to be recorded by certain regulated financial organisations. It says this will provide an extra source of evidence that can be used to help defend against market abuse.

We have less than a year's worth of IPv4 internet addresses left, warns campaign group

Europe could have less than a year's worth of available internet addresses left, according to new campaign group 6UK. The not-for-profit organisation launched its campaign this week to encourage UK organisations to adopt the new IP6 internet protocol.
