Modu employees apparently made redundant as company fails to raise money

It’s reported that Israeli mobile phone manufacturer Modu is making most of its 30 employees redundant after unsuccessfully trying to raise money. The company, which makes modular mobile phones, recently announced the lightweight Modu T.

Shazam and Alcatel announce a partnership for Android users

Music discovery service Shazam has announced a partnership with TCT Mobile, the company that produces Alcatel mobile phones. As a result, Shazam’s free Android application will be pre-loaded onto all Alcatel Android smartphones.
