O2 creates YouTube channel to provide mobile technology support

O2 UK has announced the expansion of its in-store 'Guru' technical help service to the internet. O2 Guru TV is a YouTube video channel offering advice that helps customers get the most from their mobile technology.

The free service is open to everyone and currently includes over 400 videos, with over 50 new videos being added every month.

Best Buy Europe sells its retail operation in Belgium

Best Buy Europe - the joint venture between Carphone Warehouse Group plc and Best Buy - is selling its retail business in Belgium to the country's largest telecoms company, Belgacom.

The deal is worth 22 million Euro and excludes Best Buy Europe's Belgian insurance customer base.

Maybe mobile phone tariffs aren't a rip-off after all

Mobile users 'overpaying by £200', said the BBC. £5bn 'wasted' on mobile phone bills, said the Financial Times. It's the wrong tariff, Gromit!, said Telecom TV after hitting the Wensleydale.
