Problems for Nomi Mobile

Nomi-Call Limited, the company responsible for sales and distribution of Nomi Mobile SIM cards in the UK, has gone into administration.

The company's Facebook page currently shows a number of comments asking what's happened to the mobile network.

O2 UK prepares its mobile wallet for launch later this year

O2 has announced the financial services companies it'll be working with when it launches a 'mobile wallet' service later this year. It first confirmed its plans in February.

The mobile wallet will be launched under the O2 Money brand and will include m-commerce, airtime top ups, contactless NFC payments and peer-to-peer money transfers.

Half of all Apple app downloads are games

App store analyst company Distimo and games market research firm Newzoo are working together to provide monthly data on game sales and downloads across the Apple App Store in various markets.

Their first report shows that half of all free and paid app downloads across the USA, UK, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium are games.
