ExclusiveHacked Nokia phones used for mobile banking scam?

Dutch research company Ultrascan says that criminals are using modified versions of the six-year-old Nokia 1100 to intercept mobile banking codes intended for other customers. However, it seems this fraud would also require the criminals to have the customer’s online banking password and would involve the phone somehow receiving text messages sent to the bank customer’s mobile number. Nokia has said there’s no software problem with the 1100 handset that would make it appealing to criminals… and other sources say there seems to be no evidence of the fraud taking place.
