ExclusiveMachine-to-machine partnership for Vodafone and Bosch

The Bosch Group and Vodafone have announced a global partnership that involves them integrating their machine-to-machine platforms. Companies will be offered a joint solution designed to simplify the management of products with embedded SIM cards.

Products with embedded SIMs could include automatic warning systems in lifts, air conditioning systems and escalators.

ExclusiveMotorola Mobility invests in mobile game developer Moblyng

Motorola Mobility Ventures has invested in Moblyng, a California-based developer of cross-platform games for mobile devices and social networks. Moblyng games have already been downloaded more than 9 million times to Android, Facebook, iOS and WebOS platforms.

As well as producing its own titles, Moblyng also works with publishers to extend their games and brands to mobile phones and social platforms.

ExclusiveLayar Augmented Reality browser now available on Symbian mobile phones

The Layar mobile augmented reality browser is now available for a number of Symbian S60 and Symbian^3 handsets. It overlays online digital content on top of a ‘real world’ image from the phone’s camera.

Users with the Nokia N8, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia E7, Nokia N97 and N97 mini devices can download the Layar Reality Browser from the Ovi store.
