Motorola’s Android-powered handset is revealed

Motorola has launched its first Android-powered devices along with a software solution that synchronises information from various online sources.

The phone we’ll see in Europe is called DEXT and will be exclusive to Orange in the UK. It’s a slide-open smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard, a touch-sensitive screen and a 5 megapixel camera. In the USA it’ll be called the CLIQ and will be available from T-Mobile.

LG works with famous fashionistas

In April we mentioned that Heidi Klum - model, designer and artist – was working with LG in the USA as the company’s ‘Ambassador of Style’.

Now we hear that LG is working with fashion label Twenty8Twelve, created by sisters Savannah and Sienna Miller. Their first project is a case for the new widescreen Chocolate mobile phone, with LG also sponsoring the Twenty8Twelve London Fashion Week show on 21st September.
