UK phone payment service complaints are down

PhonepayPlus, the UK's phone-paid services regulator, has announced a 62% decrease in complaints about mobile phone-paid services during the last fifteen months. In July 2008 there were 1,981 complaints; last month there were just 746.

The news comes as the EU published an update from its 2008 investigation into websites providing ringtones and wallpaper images for mobile phones.
