LG Electronics says sales of its LTE smartphones have reached three million units worldwide.
The phones, which are currently available in 10 countries, will be available in 20 countries by the end of the year.

LG’s quad-core Optimus 4X HD smartphone, which was revealed at Mobile World Congress in February, will go on sale from next month. It’ll launch in Western Europe, followed by other markets in the next few months.
The Android-powered handset runs an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and has a 4.7-inch display.

LG Electronics is spending £4 million on a marketing campaign to showcase its Optimus L3, Optimus L5 and Optimus L7 smartphones in the UK.
The campaign, which uses outdoor, print and online advertising, has been created by London-based MWorks.

The latest quarterly results from LG Electronics show the company returning to profit after two consecutive quarters of net losses.
Quarterly revenue was KRW 12.2 trillion (£6.6 billion) while net profit reached KRW 243 billion.
