EE has announced a number of new ‘pay monthly’ tariffs that’ll be available from the end of October. Pricing is from £18.99 per month for 500MB of mobile data.

Alongside these are ‘4GEE Extra’ deals that have particularly large data allowances.

Vodafone UK says it has connected 100,000 customers to its 4G tariffs since they were launched seven weeks ago.

The company currently covers much of the Greater London area with its 4G network, along with Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield. Liverpool, Glasgow and Manchester are due to be added in the next few weeks.

Ring-back tones offers consumers yet another way to customise their mobile phone service. Yet despite this - and the revenue opportunities that can be generated - many network operators don't provide ring-back tones.
