Amazon’s Fire smartphone will launch exclusively on O2 in the UK this month, having seen USA sales begin in June.
The phone, which boasts a 4.7-inch HD display and a 13 megapixel camera, runs Amazon’s own version of Android on a quad-core 2.2 GHz processor.

Amazon has launched a US-based mobile payment service with a plug-in credit card reader for smartphones and tablets.
It enables small business owners to take payments on mobile devices via a free app and is seen as a rival to longer-established services including Square, PayPal and iZettle.
