Brits want 4G to help the economy

Research carried out by YouGov plc and published by Everything Everywhere shows that 74% of British adults want to bring 4G technology to the country as soon as possible.

However, it’s the potential benefit to the economy that attracts the largest number of respondents rather than faster mobile phone connections.

Barclaycard offers stick-on NFC credit card for 'mobile' payments

Barclaycard, part of Barclays Retail and Business Banking, has launched a new way for UK customers to pay with their mobile phones. It’s called Barclaycard PayTag and is effectively a small NFC credit card that can be stuck to the back of a mobile handset.

The sticker will operate as an additional card on a Barclaycard customer’s existing account.
