Top companies criticised for "dodging their environmental responsibilities"
The UK Parliament's Environmental Audit Committee has published a report on Electronic Waste and the Circular Economy. It says the UK is "lagging behind other nations in embedding a circular economy of use, reuse and recycle for small electronics".

Tech retailer Dixons Carphone plc - the company behind the Currys PC World and Carphone Warehouse brands in the UK - has announced plans to 'streamline' its store management, with up to 800 jobs expected to be cut across shops in the UK and Ireland.

New focus on 'connected devices'
Mozilla has said it’ll stop producing smartphones based on its Firefox operating system. However, it will continue its research into other connected devices.

Specifications and pricing for the BlackBerry Priv have now been revealed.
Consumers are being offered the handset directly from BlackBerry with a UK SIM-free price of £559 incl. VAT or on a contract from Carphone Warehouse. It’s due to be available later this month.
