Apple has announced iOS 8, the new version of its operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices.
Features include a ‘predictive text’ keyboard, enhanced photo editing and storage, video and photo sharing within the messages app, an iCloud Drive for file storage and a health app that provides an overview of personal data.

A new study known as SCAMP - Study of Cognition, Adolescents and Mobile Phones - is being launched to find out if children are affected by mobile phones and WiFi. It’s being run by Imperial College London on behalf of the UK’s Department of Health.
SCAMP will focus on brain functions, including memory and attention.

A study carried out in France between 2004 and 2006 has found a potential association between mobile phone use and nervous system tumours (gliomas and meningiomas) in adults.
It’s been published in the June edition of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
