first direct, the UK bank that's available online and via the telephone, has launched a 'banking on the go' application for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch.

It says it's the first UK bank to launch a true transactional banking app.

Millionaire City goes mobile on Android phones

Digital Chocolate, the company behind the Millionaire City and MMA Pro Fighter games on Facebook, is now launching the games on Android devices. Millionaire City was the second fastest growing game on Facebook in 2010.

The company is debuting the Android versions of its games on independent app store GetJar.

Foursquare users post a million photos in less than a month

Over a million user-generated photos have been uploaded to location-based social network Foursquare since it launched the option in December 2010.
