London-based smartphone manufacturer Kazam, which launched in June this year, has announced its first devices.

There are five smartphones in the Kazam Trooper range and two Kazam Thunder handsets that are expected to be made available across Europe, although specific country availability hasn’t been confirmed yet.

There's good news for Telefonica as it's chosen to support the UK's smart meter rollout - but bad news for fans of the Microsoft Tag barcode, which is being discontinued in a couple of years' time.
