New UK-based SCAMP research project will investigate the effect of mobile phones on children's brains

A new study known as SCAMP - Study of Cognition, Adolescents and Mobile Phones - is being launched to find out if children are affected by mobile phones and WiFi. It’s being run by Imperial College London on behalf of the UK’s Department of Health.

SCAMP will focus on brain functions, including memory and attention.

From today, Samsung has arranged to brand the terminal as ‘Terminal Samsung Galaxy S5’.

Apple and Motorola reported to have settled legal cases in the USA

Apple and Google-owned Motorola Mobility have agreed to end their current legal actions in the USA, according to a number of reports.

The cases, which involved the alleged infringement of smartphone-related patents, began in 2010.

Braille mobile phone released by UK-based OwnFone

A customisable Braille mobile phone has been announced by London-based business OwnFone.

The device has up to four pre-programmed memory buttons that can be printed with braille or raised text.
