Apple slipped to second place in 2014, whilst IBM remained in third.

Apple and Google-owned Motorola Mobility have agreed to end their current legal actions in the USA, according to a number of reports.
The cases, which involved the alleged infringement of smartphone-related patents, began in 2010.
