It’s not just Formula 1 racing drivers and Premiership footballers who sign long contracts. René Obermann, the CEO of Deutsche Telekom, has just had his contract extended by the company’s Supervisory Board for five years.

RIM reports record BlackBerry shipments

Research In Motion has announced results for its third financial quarter, with BlackBerry smartphone shipments up 40% year-on-year to a record 14.2 million devices. Around 5.1 million new BlackBerry subscriber accounts were added in the quarter, giving the company over 55 million users.
