A few days ago we revealed a list of top BlackBerry applications… and now it's time for Google. The second Android Developer Challenge has just announced its favourite applications. These were selected after two rounds of scoring by Android users as well as evaluation by a panel of judges selected by Google. The top prize was $250,000, with a second prize totalling $150,000 and a third prize of $125,000.
The three overall winners were:
SweetDreams: a "revolutionary tool that will finally allow you to go to sleep without worrying about changing your phone settings in order to avoid unwelcome late night calls"
What the Doodle!?: a real-time online multiplayer game where one player tries to draw a phrase and others try to guess it
WaveSecure: a mobile security solution that tracks your phone's location and can lock, erase, backup and restore your data
