Motorola Mobility, which was bought by Google last year, is reported to be cutting 1,200 more jobs. The company announced restructuring plans last August with around 4,000 jobs being lost at Motorola facilities around the world.

Last year’s job cuts meant that approximately 20% of Motorola’s 20,000 staff were losing their jobs. Based on current staffing levels, this year’s reported redundancies would affect 10% of remaining Motorola employees.
