Rick Osterloh appointed as President of Motorola Mobility

Motorola Mobility has named Rick Osterloh as its new President and Chief Operating Officer. He replaces Dennis Woodside, who left his CEO role earlier this year to join Dropbox.

The company is currently in the process of being sold to Lenovo by Google.

Mr Osterloh first joined Motorola seven years ago when it acquired Good Technology, although he later left to work for Skype before returning around two years ago.
