Best Buy and The Carphone Warehouse have postponed the launch of their large "Best Buy Europe" retail stores until early 2010. They'd previously planned to open three or four stores in the UK this summer. Last year, The Carphone Warehouse sold 50% of its retail business to Best Buy for £1.1 billion.
