Samsung has commissioned four short high-definition films as part of Friday’s launch of the Samsung i8910 HD mobile phone. The films will be shown as part of the Future Shorts Festival and will also be uploaded to YouTube. Initially announced as the Omnia HD, the touch-controlled 8-megapixel Samsung i8910 HD features the world’s first 720p HD video recording and decoding on a mobile phone as well as the world’s largest AMOLED screen (a 3.7-inch 640×360 pixel display).
