The Land Rover mobile phone we mentioned last year has debuted this week at a promotional event that involved explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes and a fair amount of mud. The 2-megapixel GPS-equipped Land Rover S1, which is produced by rugged handset manufacturer Sonim, is resistant to dust, dirt, shocks and drops. It’s also waterproof to a depth of one metre for up to 30 minutes.
