Application developer Hottrix, which created the iBeer app, the Premier App Shop and the adult-only Sex App Shop, has just announced what it describes as the 'world’s first legal app store alternative'.
YourAppShop enables developers and companies to create their own mobile app stores and sell their own applications without the need for 'approval'. It's compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch and Google’s Nexus One device.
Unlike the official Apple application store that relies on iTunes to deliver software, YourAppShop appears to use the device's internet browser to run 'virtual apps' that are treated like stored web pages. [PDF press statement]
