Here’s a story that most people saw coming from a great distance. The newest version of Apple iTunes no longer lets Palm Pre users synchronise their music between their PC and their smartphone. According to Apple, version 8.2.1 “addresses an issue with verification of Apple devices”. It’s still possible to use the Pre as an MP3 player, of course, just not by uploading via iTunes.
