Researchers are expecting fourth-generation LTE technology to start selling quickly once it’s available – we’ve previously mentioned worldwide figures of 100 million subscriptions in 2014, even though the first major 4G demonstration was only earlier this year – and now chip developer Altair Semiconductor has added to the optimism. In an interview with Unstrung.com, Altair’s co-founder and vice president of marketing and business development Eran Eshed says his company is unveiling its first LTE radio modem this November.
