Mark Evans has been announced as the new Chief Financial Officer of Telefonica UK, reporting to CEO Ronan Dunne. He takes over from acting CFO Adam Castleton, who’d been holding the fort since Ramon Ros moved to Telefónica Spain around a year ago.
Mr Evans had previously been at Vodafone for 10 years, before which he’d worked at Virgin Media.
Ronan Dunne said “2012 will be a hugely exciting year for Telefonica in the UK and Mark is joining at a crucial time. Through leading the finance team, his role is vital in making sure we deliver our business objectives and commitments. Mark’s experience and energy will be invaluable in helping lead the company to even more success this year and I’m delighted to have him on board".”
