A new service called GoPayforit – created by mobile services provider Interlinked Media – has been launched to simplify online sales of up to £10 for bloggers and content owners.
GoPayforit makes it easy to set up a payment service for a website by inserting a single line of code. Consumers can then pay directly from their mobile phone bill ('pay as you go' credit or 'pay monthly' contract).
Purchasers enter their mobile number online and receive a PIN code sent as a text message. They then enter the code online to complete their payment. The entire process takes just 16 keystrokes.
