First, there was the kitchen calendar. Then came the 3Com Palm Audrey. Next was the O2 Joggler. And now we're promised an Android-powered 'family hub tablet' from T-Mobile UK and Innovative Converged Devices (ICD). The ICD Vega is a 15-inch touchscreen device that'll be accessible to family members via mobile phone and other internet-connected devices. It'll send text reminders for appointments, it'll play games and it also promises on-demand TV.
The service should be launched later this year; pricing and availability haven't yet been announced.
