Huawei and Telefónica O2 UK say they've completed a successful live trial of fourth-generation LTE (Long Term Evolution) mobile technology. The trial saw 4G LTE data download speeds hit 150Mbps in the Slough area.
This news comes three months after Telefonica said it would be trialling LTE technology in six countries using a variety of equipment vendors. Huawei is the first of these trial LTE vendors to have successfully implemented a live trial LTE network. [Press release]
