Ofcom says UK's 3G population coverage is now at least 80%

Ofcom says that all of the UK's licence holders have met their obligation to deliver 3G coverage to 80% of the population (as of the 31 December 2008). The target should have been met by the end of 2007 but O2 failed to achieve this until last year. [Ofcom 3G consultation]
