Low-cost airline Ryanair has launched an in-flight mobile phone service on 20 of its aircraft as the first stage of equipping all 170 of its aircraft with 'OnAir' equipment by the end of 2010. Voice calls will cost between 2 and 3 Euro per minute and texts will cost around 50 Euro cents. The service will initially be available to O2 and Vodafone customers, along with customers of over 50 other European networks. [Press release]
