1st July 2010 marks the end of T-Mobile UK and Orange UK as separate companies. They're now officially part of Everything Everywhere Limited, a company headed by former Orange UK CEO Tom Alexander. The merged company has around 16,500 staff, over 30 million customers and 700 retail stores.
The T-Mobile (UK) and Orange (UK) brands will continue to exist as part of Everything Everywhere.
