T-Mobile says that it needs to increase the cost of making phone calls in Europe, although it will be reducing the cost of sending text messages to comply with EC regulations. From 29th June the cost of making a call within the EU for most T-Mobile customers will increase from 38p a minute to 44p a minute. The cost of texting will fall from 25p to 11p per text, while the cost of receiving a call will remain unchanged at 19p per minute.
