The Tesco Mobile virtual network says it'll be selling the iPhone 3GS from next Monday, 14th December 2009 – with what it's describing as the UK's lowest monthly contract deal for an iPhone.
The 12-month minimum term contract costs £20 a month for '£60 of calls and texts' (with standard UK calls costing 20p per minute) and offers iPhone prices from £222 to £407 depending on the model. The 24-month contract has 'unlimited' calls and texts for £60 a month with the 16GB 3GS free or the 32GB model costing £50.
Pay as you go prices start at £342 for the standard 8GB iPhone 3G and rise to £538 for the 32GB iPhone 3GS.
