Microsoft says it won't be sending its Kin social networking mobile phones to Europe and is integrating the Kin team with the Windows Phone 7 team. The company says this will allow it to focus exclusively on Windows Phone 7, which current rumours suggest will start shipping in October this year. Current stocks of Kin phones will still be sold by Verizon in the USA.
Microsoft revealed the Kin One and Kin Two in April this year and began selling them in May in the United States. They were due to arrive on Vodafone UK in the autumn.
