Two consumer groups in the USA, Consumer Watchdog and the Center for Digital Democracy, have asked the Federal Trade Commission to block Google’s $750 million deal to buy mobile advertising company AdMob. The two groups said a combined Google/AdMob also raised privacy concerns alongside the issue of competition because of the amount of online data the two companies control.
