Virgin Media is planning a mobile Video-On-Demand service that’ll provide closer links between the company’s mobile phone service and its cable TV packages, according to The Guardian. It quotes Virgin Mobile MD Graeme Oxby as saying “We have a strong sense that certain elements of video on demand will work well on a mobile. Before too long we will have common access to your Virgin Media email and then video on demand will come after that. Sooner rather than later.”
