Vodafone UK is introducing two new European data roaming options on Wednesday 1st December.
The Vodafone Data Traveller package includes up to 25MB of mobile data for a £2 daily charge. Alternatively, it can be added to a ‘pay monthly’ contract for £10 a month. Customers need to opt in to these deals; Vodafone’s standard European data charges start at £1 per MB up to 5MB.
Consumers on ‘pay monthly’ tariffs of £40 and above who already benefit from 5MB of daily data to use in Europe will automatically have their allowance increased to 25MB. Business customers on selected price plans will also benefit from the allowance.
The 25MB allowance is available in Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Switzerland.
