Vodafone says it's sent 50,000 iPhones to customers who'd ordered the handset in advance of today's UK launch.
It's also created two new iPhone apps for its customers. The free Vodafone 360 People Sync App is designed to help customers move their contacts from their old mobile phone to their iPhone, while the Vodafone Navigation App provides turn-by-turn UK navigation with voice instructions and speed camera alerts. It's free until the end of April 2010, at which point it's either £3 a month for the duration of the contract or £5 month-by-month.
