Vodafone UK has launched the Vodafone Mobile Wi-Fi, a WiFi-enabled mobile broadband device that allows up to five people to simultaneously connect to the internet over the Vodafone network. Similar devices are already available from Three UK and The Carphone Warehouse.
The Vodafone device – also known as the R201 – is available free on an 18-month tariff costing £25 per month. The charge includes 5GB of mobile data. It can be used with almost any WiFi-equipped equipment, including laptops, tablet PCs, games consoles and music players.
