ExclusiveProfits increase at Samsung

Samsung’s results for Q1 2012 have revealed the company’s highest quarterly profit for several years.

Net profit was 5.05 trillion won, up 81% year-on-year, while overall revenue increased by 22% to 45.27 trillion won.

Research from comScore into mobile gaming behaviour across France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom has shown that 42% of smartphone users across these ‘EU5’ countries claim to have played a game on their device in February 2012.

That’s 46.4 million people; a 55% increase over the past year.

ExclusiveBluetooth starts working more closely with developers

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group has launched the Bluetooth Developer Portal today, providing a resource to help developers and engineers. Available resources include training tools, interactive forums and quick-start guides.

In addition, the Bluetooth SIG is also offering a series of free Bluetooth developer webinars from the end of this month.
