Symbian updates will continue to 2016 at least, says Nokia CEO

Stephen Elop, Nokia’s President and CEO, has said that software updates and support for Symbian phones will continue until 2016 at the earliest. His comments were posted on the Nokia Conversations blog this week.

The company said in February it plans to almost double the current base of 200 million Symbian devices to around 350 million in the next few years.
