Nokia Lumia 625 offers a larger screen at a smaller price

Nokia has announced a 4G-ready smartphone with a 4.7-inch screen. The Nokia Lumia 625 runs Windows Phone 8 and includes some of the camera features introduced on the flagship Nokia Lumia 1020. It runs on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and has a 5 megapixel camera.

Jo Harlow, executive vice president for Nokia Smart Devices, said “With our largest smartphone screen to date, the Nokia Lumia 625 is a perfect example of how Nokia is delivering leading smartphone innovation and experiences at every price point.”

Pricing is expected to be €220 (£227 incl. VAT) SIM-free, with availability from Q3 2013. There’ll be a range of colours and optional changeable shells.
